Our story began on June 22nd, 2019. Emily successfully snuck her way into Sky Bar with her subpar Fake ID, just to realize that it actually wasn’t “Buffalo’s Hottest Bar”. There wasn’t much that was memorable about that bar at all in fact, except for the boy she was introduced to right before calling it a night- Elliott Crimmen. They didn’t know it then, but over the next six months a freezing night at Balloons for Fall Fest, a chaotic weekend in Cleveland, one official sushi date, and a memorable Christmas party on College Street would lead to start of their love story.

Over the next few years, we became each other’s best friend in every way, always finding a reason to celebrate- turning even the smallest moments into something special. We went on to explore some of our favorite places together; Hawaii, California, and Charleston just to name a few, building a life full of adventure, laughter, and love. In Buffalo, you will find us in the same routine every Friday- date night (after drinks with the boys at Cole’s of course..) Even after six years of trying just about every restaurant in Buffalo, we still wake up every Friday with the same giddy excitement for our night ahead.

In 2022, we moved in together and soon after adopted our little Luna. That season of “firsts” showed us just how much better life is when seen through our shared lens. The nights we spent staying in and playing card games, taking Luna down to the waterfront for sunset, and watching 25 different movie previews just for Emily to fall asleep in the first five minutes are some of our favorite memories we’ve made.

Then, on September 8th, 2024, Elliott managed to surprise the girl who created a minute-by-minute itinerary for their trip to California and proposed at The Bluffs in the Pacific Palisades, one of Emily’s favorite places in the world. It was the perfect beginning to our forever. From the start, we’ve always known: it would be us, hand in hand, through every season of life.
